The Enhanced Fuel Gauges has just been updated to include a blackish metallic background instead of the earlier pure black color background.   Valid users should have found the Download link of the new gauge in their mailbox already.

Similar metallic touch to the other paid gauges will be released soon but actual dates will depend on the complexity of graphics and codes required for the changes.
