New PC Finally ordered:
I7 3770k at OC at 4.6ghz on ASUS MAXIMUS-5/XR mother board, MSI GTX 770 4gb video, 16gb ram, Corsair H100 Liquid CPU Cooler, 2x 512gb SSD, 2x SATA 2tb HD, LG BLU-RAY BURNER, All in 1 Memory Card Reader, Thermaltake 1200W Power Supply, Thermaltake Chaser MK-I Full Tower Gaming Case, Neon Light Package.
– Saitek Yoke, 2 Throttle Quadrant, Pedals, Switch panel, Multi Panel, 2 Radio Panel, Instrument Panel
– Throttle, Prop, Mixture controls for small AC
– Gps Garmin GNS 500 (5.6” screen, in progress)
– Build from an old leftover desk and lumber, Coroplast Top and Sides (same stuff as election signs)
– Some USB controllers from Desktop Aviator (for switches and throttle, GPS)and a fuel selector switch.
– Plan to have 11 or 12 Saitek Flight Instrument Panels (as funds become available!) (Got 2 not installed yet)
– Cockpit lights,red and white LEDs with switch
Got the hour meter and the ELT switch come (working on a sound board for SOS sound for the ELT)
also got a handle for park brake from a CESSNA (working on it also)
Park Brake made fully functional with a micro switch and spring return also locks in position.
The Garmin GNS530 GPS was made with a circuit board I had made in China and use a Leo Baudard board for the function, the front panel was machined by a panel company. Still work in progress to finish wiring.
