498: RealAir Duke Gauges R2 Update

The FIP Gauges for Duke B60 and Duke Turbine from RealAir Simulations have been updated to version R2, which includes new gauges (such as a new Engine 4 in the Turbine set as shown on the right) besides fixes and optimizations.

In addition, the updated gauges are now Logitech drivers compatible.

  1. Hello:

I have a question. I am building a Beechcraft duchess simulator and was curious about using the Saitek FIPs. They are the perfect size for displaying the engine gauges. Then I can use the simkits or other gauges for the rest of the instrument panel.

My question is if creating gauges like these for Prepar3d is even possible, and what it would take to get them made if it was.

    Thanks!

    1. Hi Brandon,

Yes, creating engine gauges for the duchess is possible. Please let me know more information about the aircraft, such as developer, you are going to use in P3Dv3 and some spec of your system.

Pls reply to my email sent to you and I’ll get back to you what would it take to get them made and time required.

  2. Hi Tom

Thanks for the update. I like how you separated the common (shared) gauges from the Duke B60 into a separate folder. I actually went to the trouble of doing this with the R1 release gauges when I finally got the Lancair Legacy ASI. (I actually when a step further and renamed everything from ‘RASDuke’ to ‘RASShared’). It seemed the logical thing to do. Like what you did with the 4th Turbine Duke engine gauge also.

    Thanks, Jack
