After 6 years and 2 previous builds, Roy Dunnavant in Arizona USA has taken a rather unusual approach in his current sim cockpit, in which 5 x 24-inch monitors are used in portrait mode for display.
Builder: Roy Dunnavant
Location: Marana, Arizona, USA
ICAO: KAVQ, Marana Regional Airport

Project Notes:
I have experimented with two monitors. The problem has been the monitor edge line right down the middle — always smack in the middle of the runway.
Three monitors work Great. But when I went to portrait mode it made everything look that much better! The two extra screens fill out my dashboard view. So now I have 5 x 24″ ( Diagonal ) monitors set up in portrait mode in my current sim.
In the cockpit, I’ve combined GoFlight products with Saitek (Logitech) Instruments and BIP. The Switch Panels are mine, except for one from Desktop Aviator.
The cabinet is sheet metal and angle iron. It gives me a good flight experience for 1 or 2 engine Aircraft. Most of the instruments are yours (FSX Times).
