Unlike the way I spent for FSX and P3D, I am quite cautious about getting airports and sceneries for MSFS these days as the overall presentation in the simulator is quite good already.
One exception, however, is the enhancement addons, such as Meshes.

No doubt, there are some pretty good freeware meshes or DEMs available as mentioned in my Post 689. But I must say that many payware products are still worth of what they are — the New Zealand Mesh from Orbx and the Switzerland Mesh from FSDreamTeam are two good examples.
Honestly, I was quite happy with the free DEMs downloaded from Flightsim.to for the two areas. However, since the two areas are the places I mostly fly into, I have little doubt to get the payware that are supposed to be better, and finer tuned and calibrated.
And the result proves itself…I wouldn’t say the difference is significant but the enhancement is definitely seeable. Moreover, they are comparatively more efficient and light weight to load into MSFS.
I have no regret getting them at all.

I agree the meshes are good. Just don’t start calculating how much it’s going to cost you to cover the whole wold if one country costs about 10$ in MSFS. Payware P3D mesh of.the same quality or better costs about 100$ and it covers the whole world. I think there are more then 10 countries in the world.

Yeah. Cost will be ignored when the purchase delivers what we expect it.
