Roger Cook in the US built his cockpit for his favorite PA28 Warrior II in about 4 weekends Following is what he built and it looks nice.
Builder: Roger Cook
Location: Tracy CA, USA
ICAO: KTCY, Tracy Municipal Airport

Project Notes:
I modeled my sim after Basement Sim Guy from ontheglideslope.net. He was gracious enough to provide plans on his site for anyone that was interested in building a similar project.
It took around a month to build once I had all the material parts accessories etc. Mostly just working on it over the weekends. It is setup for single engine aircraft PA28 Warrior II being my favorite.
There were so many questions I had along the way and to be honest I just went with and I will cross that bridge when I come to it mentality.
I have 3 TV’s (a 75-inch in 4K and other 2 in 1080P) and 2 Real Sim Gear monitors, 4 of them running off my RTX2080 and 1 running off the on board intel GPU with a I7 9700K overclocked to 5GHZ. Also, the gauge display is an iPad running Remote Flight Cockpit.
I am getting between 25 and 35 FPS in KMIA with ORBX scenery for that area of Florida. Not to bad for pushing 5 monitors plus 1 iPad.

I am happy to answer any questions a new builder might have, feel free to drop me a line at drwaxx@comcast.net.
