I managed to have a break during the summer months. Althought trivial things to take care of were still unavoidable, it was good.
During the period, I received a suggestion from Roland, who told me that the PA24-250 Comanche by A2A was hot and asked if I would develop gauges for it.
Frankly, I am really not a fan to any airplane needing SPAD.neXt to run gauges on the Flight Instrument Panels (FIPs). I am not saying that SPAD.neXt is no good. I just want something install-and-go.
Anyway, here’s the Comanche gauge set just completed, in which many new features and operations are just possible with SPAD.neXt. For example, assigning multiple functions to a single button to imitate a more realistic operation, etc.
Except the EDM-830 Engine Monitoring System that is a definite to follow in a couple of weeks, there won’t be Comanche version of the Altimeter and ADF, as the existing Multi-Share version or other alternatives are already good enough.
Here’s the link to my FIP store for those who are interested.
Again, this gauge set requires SPAD.neXt to run properly since the default Logitech FIP plugin doesn’t support Local Variables, unfortunately.

Hi Tom,
You have quite a few nice gauges! I just purchased the A2A Comanche and want to buy one or more gauges from you. However, I’m heavily using the side buttons of my (7) FIPs. Can these buttons still be used with your gauges?
Thanks,
Lex

Hi Lex,
Functions of the FIP buttons are gauge specific, meaning you could assign functions a,b,c,d,e,f to B1 to B6 respectively on gauge #1, and then assign functions g,h,i,j,k,l to B1 to B6 respectively again on gauge #2.
When you press the up/down buttons on the FIP to switch from gauge #1 to gauge #2 or vice versa, the already assigned button functions for gauge #1 and gauge #2 will follow.
Hope above clarifies your question.
Tom
