I am sending out the new Installer package to all existing pay users. However, some of the emails have been rejected.

282: Existing Paid-Gauges Now with Installer
Was originally planning to add the Automatic Installer to all my existing paid-gauges after the release of the coming AirSpeed Indicator and Turn Coordinator later this month. Due to receiving some immediate requests, revisions has been put upfront.
With this Automatic Installer, all user needs now just to unzip the package, and then click and run the utility. That’s it.
The installer will add the new gauge to the END of the existing gauge list and modify the SaiFlightSimX.xml under DirectOutput folder automatically. Original SaiFlightSimX.xml will be backup automatically too.
DO NOTE THAT Continue reading
281: Last Two Gauges Preview
Here’s the preview screenshot of the last two C172 gauges, AirSpeed Indicator & Turn Coordinator, which are to complete my Integrated Project to include all C172 gauges on just seven FIPs since the middle of last year.
They are being fine-tuned and should be ready within the next couple of weeks. One thing noteworthy is that these two new gauges will come with an automatic installer. Continue reading
280: Heading Gyro Update #2
My time is still mostly tied up on my grandson lately. However, I am slowly gaining back some time on flightsimming now. Just clean installed the latest Prepar3D version 2.5 onto my computer last week. Similarly, I can put hands onto my unfinished C172 integrated gauge project again.
To render more weather information associated with the Wind Magnitude on the
Heading Gyro gauge, Engine Hours originally on the gauge has been replaced by Visibility as previously mentioned in the note of the gauge’s last update.
The removed Engine Hours will be put onto the coming Airspeed Indicator instead.
Since this update, same as the last one, is supplemental, users are free to keep their existing one or to choose any of the three versions of their choice. Switching among them is easy too.

News: Pardon my Slow Response
As mentioned in earlier post that my response to download requests and comments would be slow in these few weeks due to the maintenance of my computer and the Chinese New Year. Actually, it’s also because of the coming of my first grandson. He was born two days ago. Still couldn’t accept the fact that I am a grandpa now even though I am very very happy seeing him joining the family.
–
In the last few weeks, I didn’t run flightsim nor visited this blog at all. I believe the situation will continue for another month or two before everything backs to normal again. So pardon me should you don’t get any of my feedback.

Happy flightsimming!
News: Warning to P3D Orbx Users
Informed by Ray and Michael that some (or many) Orbx addons have problems loading into the new Prepar3D 2.5 version. I didn’t aware of that too. Luckily that I didn’t have time to do the installation after downloading the new version earlier this morning. Orbx is working on a fix.
–
Do note there are other incompatibility issues reported by other users regarding the new version 2.5 in Comments section of this post below.
–
Better hold your installation for now if you haven’t done so.
News: Prepar3D v2.5 Released
Didn’t notice that version 2.5 of Prepar3D was released a couple of days ago. I can’t help to download it immediately since it has interrupted my computer system maintenance process being worked on, and even though I am still busy preparing the coming Chinese New Year.
–
Anyway, the good news is the new version 2.5 has come with a lot of improvements, fixes and requested enhancements, as Lockheed Martin says. Just a note if you are not aware of the new release like I did.
–
BTW, as mentioned in the previous post, requests for free gauges and other downloads will be ignored in these few weeks until my main computer and server are up and running again.
News: System Maintenance
Hi Friends,
–
Please note that due to my system is undergoing a major clean-up, requests for free gauges and others will be ignored within the next few weeks. In addition, my response will be slow as well since the Chinese New Year is coming the Thursday after next.
–
Wish you all a Prosperous Year of the Ram (Sheep or Goat) !!
