Two new Multi-Shared Gauges are added to the FIP collection for the MSFS default airplane lines. 
The first one is the Manifold Pressure-Fuel Flow combo that is used on the Aviat Pitts Special S2S and Robin Cap 10C.
The second is the gMeter, which comes with three different versions to suit the variation in style of the instrument on the Aviat Pitts Special S1S, S2S, Robin Cap 10C and Extra 330LT.
The instrument is found on some of the aircraft (standard & custom) in the Reno package as well.
Regarding the fuel-flow reading errors caused by Logitech’s X-Plane plugin on 
Flight Instrument Panel (FIP) reported in Post 505, I am so happy to announce that the nasty issue has been finally solved for good, no need to beg for help from Logitech any more.
In light of some addons I came across: since the Logitech plugin fails to read the “fuel_flow_kg_sec” dataref properly, I popped up an idea that I could probably create something else to substitute the erratic function to read the fuel-flow values correctly. Continue reading
Just found out Logitech’s X-Plane Plugin for FIPs has been updated to version 8.0.213.0. According to the support page, the new version has included additional Cessna gauges (similar to those offered in FSX/P3D Drivers) plus updates to the rotary dial behavior in gauges.
Not sure what “updates to the rotary dial behavior” means but the new version works fine on my system without any issue so far.
Sadly, the fuel-flow issues I reported more than a year ago in Post 505 and 509 are still not addressed.
Regarding the Fuel Flow Issue caused by Logitech’s X-Plane plugin as detailed in Post 505 and the reply from Logitech in Post 509, David Kelly commented that we should rally together and get it done. I think it’s a very good idea.
My request truly represents just a single incident reported by just one user. If there are greater numbers of support requests about the fuel-flow issue to Logitech as David suggests, the company should treat the issue more seriously and might possibly create some time-frames to address the issue earlier.

As expected, Logitech has refused my request to provide the source code of the X-Plane plugin. So, there is nothing I can do about it from this end, but I will continue to look for other options, if there are any.
Will I continue to develop FIP gauges for X-Plane, some asked? Probably when timing is right, because not all aircraft involve the using of fuel flow in the way as the C172SP does.
Update: A Rally on XPlane C172 Fuel Flow Issue – Help Wanted
As mentioned in the update two weeks ago, Logitech sent me a revised X-Plane Plug-in but the fule flow datatref issue remains unsolved unfortunately.
After another 2 weeks of waiting, Logitech yesterday replied “we don’t have a newer X-Plane Plug-in and do not have a timeframe yet of when it will become available and no guarantee if even the newer one will address your issue.”
That’s really unfortunate to all who are using FIPs (Flight Instrument Panels) for C172SP and other small aircraft in X-Plane.
Although the chance is small, I continue to ask if Logitech could send me the source code of the plug-in so that I can give a hand on the issue.

Haven’t updated FSX Times for quite a while due to some family matters, travels, other distractions and laziness under the summer sun. Probably the situation will carry on for another month or so.
Regarding the fuel flow dataref issue in X-Plane for FIP gauges, Logitech has reacted and sent me a revised X-Plane Plug-in. Unfortunately, the issue remains unsolved. Have reported back and hope that there will be “workable” update from the support team soon.
During last month, my son developed an iOS version of the Affinity Mask Calculator for me. It is called “FSXTimes AMC”. Nothing fancy and it works similarly to the web version. It can be downloaded from Apple’s App Store. As 6- and 8-core CPUs are becoming main streams, next update will target to include them.

Respond time is much much better than Saitek. Let’s get our fingers crossed that there are some good news coming soon.
Update: A Rally on XPlane C172 Fuel Flow Issue – Help Wanted
Thanks to Rares Vernica, the cause of the fuel-flow issue found on the C172SP Integrated Fuel Gauges (INTFG) for X-Plane has been spotted. It is very likely caused by the “rounding” function in Logitech’s X-Plane Plugin for the command.
The value of the “sim/cockpit2/engine/indicators/fuel_flow_kg_sec” dataref from X-Plane for the C172SP is in the range approximately between 0.003550 to 0.009475 (or 0.003xxx to 0.009xxx) when engine is running.
As shown in the image above, the 3rd decimal number on the Flight Instrument Panel (FIP) is rounded to either 0 or 5 regardless of the actual output from the dataref in X-Plane. Continue reading
