Due to the brightness of the Vref marks on the G5 PFD Airspeed Scale is a bit overwhelming that causes distraction from the rest of the instrument, the Vref marks have been dimmed a little to restore the balance of the instrument as a whole.

As there are quite some inquiries regarding the Cirrus SR22 airspeed scale for the GENERIC G5 PFD, 
it is therefore added as the third airspeed scale (C172, B58, SR22) coming as standard in the G5 PFD (both single- and dual-cue) R4 package now.
It can be called up by the “G5 Airspeed Switcher” utility after update.

The GENERIC G5 PFD R4 is ready at last. This major update includes a lot of enhancements and revisions with many bug fixes and new features.
For instance, besides its appearance nows resembles more to the latest Garmin G5, Vrefs info (reference speeds) based on real aircraft are added as an option to the Airspeed Scales as well.
Here’s a quick video showing both single-cue and dual-cue PFD running with the HSI on the C172 Skyhawk in MSFS.
Furthermore, a new utility called “G5 Airspeed Switcher” is also included to the instrument pack so that users can quickly switch among different Airspeed Scales to match with the aircraft being flown with the G5 PFD.

A friend, Christian, recently told me that he was confused by the movement of the attitude indicator arc and triangle above it on the Generic G5 PFD. He asked if it is possible to modify the attitude indicator like the real Garmin G5 does as shown in the image on the right below, so that the arc and the triangle above it move with the horizon and have the lower triangle stay in relation to the plane.
I fully understand his frustration as I sometimes got confused as well.

The B737 PFD has just been released. It is so far the most complicated FIP gauge I’ve ever made, even with the experience I had from the Garmin G5 PFD.

The bug checking and fine-tuning for the B737 PFD (Primary Flight Display) is completed. Following is a photo (click to enlarge) of it with the coming EICAS (Engine Indicating and Crew Alerting System) and MFD (Multi-Function Display) sitting next to it.

In the last few weeks, I’ve been working hard on the Primary Flight Display (PFD) for the FSX default B737. The development is based on the feedback from users, especially G5 PFD users, who want somethings truly matching the B737.
The gauge 
is generally completed with all the features found on the default B737 PFD, such as warning bars and displays for maximum and minimum speeds, decision height and altitude, etc.

Since the many versions coming with the Generic G5 PFD look so similar to each other, even myself I find it hard to tell from which is which.
To make things easier, the updated version of the gauge now displays the corresponding aircraft model that the PFD is intended for when the battery is off.
Users should have found the download links in their mailboxes by now.
The Dual-Cue version of the generic PFD is ready and is being sent to all 
who purchased the Single-Cue Version for free.
The free offer is valid until the end of Easter on 18th, the next Tuesday.
