Just received the new computer solely for flight simulation today with some revisions to the spec listed in my last post originally. The full spec now is:

- CPU: Intel i7-6850K
- Motherboard: Asus X99 Deluxe-II
- RAM: Corsair 32GB Dominator 3200MHz DDR4
- SSD: Samsung 960 EVO M.2 256GB for Windows System
- CPU Cooler: Corsair Hydro Series H115i
- Power Supply: Corsair AX1200i
- Case: Corsair Graphite 760T
- OS: Windows 10 Home

Although the computer has been partly assembled by the supplier, there are still a lot of installations and fine-tuning works to do. However, the timing is good since the racks I ordered for the cockpit main-frame will need another two weeks to come. By the time the racks arrive, the tuning of the computer should be completed. I can then focus wholly on the physical cockpit set up.

Killer rig Tom, that will keep you going for a while

Thanks Colin. Everything is put on hold waiting for the racks.

Can you post a screenshot of the “outside racks” that you chose for your new cockpit? Just curious.
