A friend, Francois, in France who recently contacted Alexey Podrezov, the developer of FIP Toolkit, about the problem he faced when trying to use the utility. After getting a solution from Alexey, he reported back to me that the problem was due to the driver that he uses.
Instead of the more recent Logitech version, Francois is using the older FIP driver from Saitek, which somehow disables the creation of a Windows registry that is necessary for the running of the Toolkit during installation.
To fix the issue, he will have to manually create the key:
DirectOutputX86 = C:\Program Files (x86)\Saitek\ProFlight FSX Plugin\DirectOutput.dll
under:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Saitek\DirectOutput]
via regedit.exe, so that the FIP Toolkit can be directed to the location of the FIP driver correctly.
Worth a note to those who are still running FIPs with the older Saitek driver and are interested in Alexey’s FIP Toolkit.

Hi Do you have a link or can post the version 2.0 of the Fip toolkit for p3d and logitech. As the only file available is on your post 264, for just 1 file. as the Alexey site is down.. Thanks in advance
