If you own the Hong Kong City Times from SamScene3D, note that it has just updated to version 1.3.1, in which many animated billboards plus various visual improvements are added.
To make it more lively, do supplement it with the Port of Hong Kong by superspud.
However, don’t fly too close as the freeware does cause overlappings to the SamScene3D, which looks odd too.
The freeware can be downloaded from Flightsim.to here.

Hi Tom…re: the Hong Kong paid scenery…I
watched a promo video and all the streets
looked like dirt roads…is that true in the paid
version?…Thanks

Hi John,
Yes, it is. Doesn’t like the Hong Kong scenery from Tampa for FSX and P3D. The roads, except those with overlays, are in yellowish color and look like dirt roads. A look odd but doesn’t bother me much when looking the scenery as a whole.
Other than that, the scenery is quite good, and improving from each updates.

HI Tom…thanks for checking for me…
if they get the roads fixed I’ll buy it…
otherwise, “authentic” it is not…I have another
Hong Kong free update that does not
suffer from this defect…on the other hand,
the port freeware update is just GREAT!..
Thanks….

You’re welcome, John.
Hope that will be solved by the developers soon.

Hi John,
Got a reply from the developer as follows: Yes it is due to the satellite image being used from the default MSFS, they are yellowish, they are from the outdated bing map. But our scenery includes some part of custom satellite image already, such as the central and west kowloon, more will be added in the next update..

Hi Tom
Thank you for all of your creations that make our flight sims more realistic! Even though I can’t use the FIP’s due to my P-51 setup, which you kindly posted on your site a few years ago as COCKPIT: RACEGUY (FA40, USA) , you have motivated me to keep learning as I enjoy my retirement.
I’m hoping you can help me with something that I have failed to correct. I have looked for a solution on the Internet but have not found an answer. I’m working with Spad.next for my Saitek Switch and Radio panels and have made several changes that are working great. I usually fly A2A warbirds which are tail draggers and the Saitek gear lights all function as they should when all three gear sets extend or retract.
However, I have recently started flying the A2A T-6 which is a tail dragger and it has a non retractable tail wheel. When I’m on the ground I get 3 green lights and when I raise the gear the lights cycle through green-red then off for the mains, as they should. However the tail light remains on during the flight and I find it distracting. I have tried setting the tail wheel light to go off when the parameter is equal to or less than 100 or equal to or greater than 0 with no luck.
Do you have any solutions for this situation that you would be able to share?
Thanks again for all of your inspiration!
Take care Ed

Hi Ed,
Since you can program its via Spad.next, will it be possible to assign the tail wheel to act like the front wheels ? so that when the front wheels are up, the tail wheel light turns off as well.
Just a thought.
