Truly, the Thrustmaster Pendular Rudder (TPR) performs nicely in my second system. But I found it more and more alienated when the Redbird Alloy RD1 has become my primary rudder and be used everyday in the last six months.
Consequently, I couldn’t help having two RD1s flying in pairs.

Thanks goodness!
BTW, you may find I post less stories these days. Well, it’s because MSFS is less “tweaky”, at least it is true to my setup. Now I basically spend more time on enjoying flightsimming, rather than playing with configs and settings as I did for P3D and FSX in the past.
FSX Times will still be alive. The frequence of my post, however, might continue to be as it is now. Thanks all for continuous support. Feel free to let me know should you have any suggestions.

Hey, Tom. I, also, recently purchased a second set of RD1’s along with a second YK1 as I am doing more demonstration/instruction from the right seat! I’m very happy with these products.

Hi Colin, I haved briefly tried the Alloy RD1 and Thrustmaster TPR on a helicopter in MSFS. Both works nicely.
However, I couldn’t judge which is a better fit.
In terms of appearance, the TPR is a sure winner. The RD1 is more for the GA.

Good to know FSX Times will still be around for a while Tom. Thanks, was wondering about this just the other day actually.
Glad you are enjoying your Redbird RD1’s, still happy with my TM TPR modded with a motorcycle steering damper and have tried a fair few rudder pedals over the years and even decades now.
Have you tried your RD1’s with military sims? WW1 WW2 DCS ETC, Helicopters too? I need rudder pedals that cover all genres really.
Maybe I should try them some day soon too.

Thank you colin. Glad to see you around too. ;)
No, I didn’t try the RD1 on any military sim. Helicopters? No, I didn’t, too. I should. I’ll install one and let you know how the RD1 response later.
