I regularly backup my whole system with Acronis True Image every weekend. After cleaning the 34,423 invalid paths in the registry as reported in my Post 331, I just found the size of the backup has also reduced from 279GB to 176GB. Double checked and confirmed my system is intact.
Not sure why. But, isn’t it a good thing to maintain a clean and error-free system while at the same time saves 100GB disk space ?
The GaugeSwitcher is completed. It’s been sent to all users who purchased any full-set of my paid gauges. Some might have multiple email notifications in their mailboxes if they own more than one type of my gauges.

The Installer Program for the Carenado A36 Gauge Series is completed. Those who took the pre-sale offer should have received the download link in their mailboxes already.
In this official release, an extra standalone gauge plate for the Turn Coordinator is included. Local and Zulu Time Clocks are added to the AirSpeed Indicator. The True Airspeed Digital Display shown in the last preview has been moved to a position overlaying 
the TAS button.
Besides the Flight Director features on the Attitude Indicator (see my Post 327), a Wind Direction Indicator on the HSI gauge and Centering Indicators for the Aileron and Pitch Trim Wheels on the ADF gauge are also added for easy adjustments.

It is commonly known that every piece of software after removed from the computer could have left some invalid registries behind. But I was shocked to find out that the total number of invalid path registries left by Prepar3D v3.0 could have crazily accumulated to 34,423 entries.
Unbelievable but it is real. It took me nearly three hours to clean them up from my computer earlier this evening.
If you have updated to P3D v3.1 recently (no matter it was by patches or by re-installation), you’d better run a thorough system check. Maintaining a clean and error-free system as always is critical to keep the flight simulation, both FSX and P3D, to perform in best condition.
Alexey has just reported that the GPS support for Prepar3D is pending for the moment due to some unexpected issues. Fix will be provided once ready.
Alexey has just updated his FIP Toolkit and FIP Customizer. The new FIP Toolkit, now P3D compatible, can correctly display serial numbers and device information and assign action to the device with defined serial number.
Do note that the new version requires the latest FIP drivers: 7.0.47.1 (or later) which can be downloaded from Saitek’s website.

AffinityMask is the highest searched subject in my blog. There are many recommended values over the Internet and I’ve tried and explored many of the suggestions (see my various Posts here) for both my FSX and P3D systems.
Since early last year, I’ve been using AffinityMask=256 in my P3D setup.
I know the Binary of 255 equals to 11111111, which represents the using of all 8 cores on a Quad-core 8-Thread CPU when it is assigned for the AffinityMask.

I was planning to have the Baron B58 Gauges to release first. However, due to some unexpected issues, it has been delayed (shouldn’t be long) and gives way to its sibling A36 Bonanza.
In general, the gauges on the Carenado A36 (also come with Prepar3D by default) are pretty similar to those on the B58, except that the number of the engine gauges is half of those on the B58.
